In-Country Value
  As a local supplier, IBHAR is committed to positively contribute to in-country value. IBHAR as a responsible local business is concerned about the ICV and see it as one of the greatest opportunities that will benefit the maturity of the Omani market, both large businesses and the local SMEs. Accordingly, IBHAR as a local Small Business developed its own ICV plan and commitment that will no doubt develop within coming years as the whole experience of ICV develops in the market. IBHAR’s understanding for ICV is that the Government and the Oil and Gas industry have launched initiatives aimed at developing ICV with successful results. Those initiatives tackle several areas, such as workforce development, increase of local sourcing of goods / services and the enhancement of the business environment to support local businesses and foreign direct investments. Our ICV commitment is focusing mainly on development of our Human Resources. The aim is to Increase the competency level and productivity of the Omani local workforce and emphasize the development of intellectual capital to the drive performance in technical and non-technical positions. Furthermore, to contract local SMEs for the required services of our daily activities. In addition, Ibhar is also committed to contribute to development of its local community through CSR activities.
